The Cleveland Browns today made two trades sending quarterback Brady Quinn to the Denver Broncos and outside linebacker Kamerion Wimbley to the Oakland Raiders.

Clearly, nobody is safe in Cleveland.

The Browns received from the Broncos running back Peyton Hillis, a sixth round pick in the 2011 National Football League Draft and a conditional 2012 draft pick.

Then from the Raiders the Browns received a third round pick in this years draft.

It is obvious that Cleveland Browns president is stripping the team down to the bare bone and rebuilding the team through the draft.

In the end, everyone is available for the right price and that includes left tackle Joe Thomas.

In the court room a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty, which is not the case in the court of public opinion.

For Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger a key moment for him is coming soon.

That moment will be his decision to whether or not voluntary give a sample of his DNA.

If Roethlisberger says no and prosecutors presiding over the case obtain a warrant for his DNA the tide of public opinion on him will be overwhelming.

Even Steelers ownership is apparently upset with Roethlisberger, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

In the end, the smart move for Roethlisberger is to cooperate with police and if they find that he did do it then he needs to take responsibility for his actions.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, via ProFootballTalk.com, the Cincinnati Bengals signed safety Roy Williams to a one year deal.

Williams is most likely down to his last chance.

Williams started every game in the first five years of his career, but that has not been the case the last two years.

In the last two years Williams has only in seven game due to injury.

In the end, if Williams cannot stay healthy in 2010 as talented as he is he will find himself out of the league as National Football League teams don’t want an injured player.

According to Adam Schefter the Cleveland Browns signed tight end Ben Watson to a three year $12 million contract with $6.35 million.

The question is now will the Browns be improved in 2010?

The Browns also just recently traded for quarterback Seneca Wallace.

Those two acquisitions might win them another game or two, but no more than that.

The real problem is with their defense as they are terrible on that side of the football.

The only solid player they have on that side of the football is Shaun Rodgers.

After that your guess is good as mine if anybody else is good on defense, which I highly doubt.

In the end its going to be a long season for Browns fans in 2010.

According to BlackSportsonline.com, via ProFootballTalk.com, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has admitted to having sexual contact, but no intercourse with the alleged victim of his latest crime in Georgia.

In other words Big Ben is in big trouble.

Yeah, right Ben and Clinton didn’t inhale or have sexual relations with Monica Lewinski.

That is the biggest load of crap as according to ESPM Radio’s Colin Cowherd, via ProFootballTalk.com, Roethlisberger treats people like crap.

That means after the two made out, or whatever sexual contact they had, then when Roethlisberger went to far the alleged victim said stop.

That most likely set off Roethlisberger who is use to getting what he wants whatever he wants, because of his status as a National Football League player.

Even if there was no sexual intercourse Roethlisberger still most likely threw her down to the floor where she hit her head.

In the end what goes around comes around

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is once again in trouble for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman.

With this being the second reported incident in six months National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell needs to suspend him immediately and indefinitely.

As important as Roethlisberger is to the Steelers he is not above the law and should be subject to the same treatment as any other person would be.

That means Roethlisberger should be suspended indefinitely until this issue is resolved, especially with the possibility of jail time if charged and convicted..

What people need to remember is that when the Personal Conduct Policy was implemented Goodell stated that there doesn’t need to be an actual charge to be suspended.

Obviously, Roethlisberger is using his status as a NFL quarterback to hookup with women, which is now coming back to bite him in the ass.

In the end its time for big Ben to take a trip to the pine.

On Monday it was announced that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco will be apart of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

As much of a pain in the butt he can be you at least got to give him credit for getting approval from the coaching staff.

According to the Bengals website, via ProFootballTalk.com, Ochocinco went to head coach Marvin Lewis for approval to do the show.

Miami Dolphins outside linebacker Jason Taylor went on the show without anybody’s approval.

What will be interesting about the show is not just gonna be what he will come up with in his dance routine, but also his comments to the judges presiding over the show when they give their opinions on how he did.

In the end Ochocinco could elevate his status to infamy on Dancing with the Stars.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been a leading franchise as many teams have copied every facet of their organization.

Once again the Steelers will be leading the way this offseason.

Earlier this month the Steelers announced that they would be using a self imposed salary cap.

Then this past Thursday the Detroit Lions announced that they will as well impose a salary cap upon themselves.

No doubt the Buffalo Bills will be one of those teams that will impose a salary cap on themselves.

People have to look no further than when the team decided to implement a cash to the cap system.

Many of the NFL teams then followed suit.

In the end even though officially there is no salary cap the realities are there will be by each team.

This past season was marred by all the trash talking from New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan.

Well now brother Rob Ryan is getting into the act of commenting on the feud between Cleveland Caviliers center Shaquille O’Neal and Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard.
According to Cleveland Plain Dealer, via ProFootballTalk.com, Rob Ryan was quoted as saying, “”As far as trash talk goes, Shaq has won four rings and the other kid [Howard] hasn’t won one. Shaq’s done everything, and the other kid hasn’t done anything. I’d say Shaq was right when he said, ‘Superman, my [behind].”

Rob will you please shut up!

I am no expert on the National Basketball Association, but I could have sworn that Shaq had just a little bit of help from guards Kobe Bryant when on the Los Angeles Lakers and gaurd Dwayne Wade when on the Miami Heat.

In the end it looks like brain cells are on short supply in the Ryan family.

Good night and good luck

The Cleveland Browns hired Superbowl winning head coach Mike Holmgren to take over the football operations of the Browns.

In light of his comments today in the News-Herald, via ProFootballTalk.com, Holmgren is taking the right approach with Browns.

According to the report, the Browns will mainly build through the draft and will ne selective in free agebcy.

That is the way yoyu build a team as the little things like chemistry and communication matter a lot.

Teams that have built through free agency don’t usually win consistently.

In the end Browns fans are just gonna have to be paitient.
