Rosenhaus Needs to Just Shut Up

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Agent Drew Rosenhaus is one of the more vocal agents in the National Football League, especially when it comes to wide receiver Terrell Owens.

The fact of the matter is that Rosenhaus is just better off shutting up as he made an idiot of himself again.

Rosenhaus in a radio stated that the three things that are affecting Owens production is the Bills coaching, quarterback play, and offensive line.

The thing is that if Rosenhaus had a brain cell and watched some film on the Bills he would realize that the offense’s playbook is so basic that a high school modified football player could figure out what their doing.

The Bills on first and second down are using one personell group with very little different formations.

The only time the Bills use more than two wide receivers are on obvious passing downs.

Another problem is that Owens drops are killing drives as the if he would made the catches they would of been for first down most of the time.

In the end Rosenhaus just needs to shut up and go away.

Is Edwards a Victim?

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards looked great at the beginning of last year and this year.

With his production each year dramatically just falling off one has to wonder if he is a victim of the system the offense is in.

Edwards is very smart and exceptional at reading defenses.

With Houston Texans linebacker Demarco Ryans confirming that the offense is basic it is becoming clear that the lack of production on offense is due to the play of players, but to the coaching.

In the end it will be time to get rid of Edwards when he performs bad for another head coach.

Should We bother?

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

The Buffalo Bills are again one of theworst teans inthe league.

It has gotten so bad it nakes me wonder should we even bother to watch.

As for me I will watch as I choose to make a career of it.

However, it is stoll hard to want to do it.

This week I had plans to break down the game again. But then I thought why bother breaking it down wheb it is the same problem over and over.

Defensively, they cannot stop the run as the line backers cannot get off blockers and defendive tackles Spencer Johnson and Kyle Williams cannot handle double teams.

Offensively, the problem is that the offense is a basic pop warner offense where opposition defenses figure out the play rigtht away with ease.

In the end people need to stay away and stop spending their money as it is the only way to get to owner Ralph Wilson

Will Bills Have a Revelation?

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

The Buffalo Bills embark on their bye week this week, which is a time to review.

The question is when they are reviewing will they have a revelation.

The Bills main problem is that the playbook for the offense is way too basic.

The Bills mainly use one type of personnel in two wide receivers, two tight ends and one running back.

When they do go to more than two wide receivers it is on a obvious passing down.

Houston Texans linebacker Demarco Ryans stated that it was easy to figure ot what the Bills were due to their simple offense.

In the end if the Bills don’t add on to the offense it is going to be a long second half.

Maybin is Getting a Raw Deal

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

The Buffalo Bills took defensive end Aaron Maybin to be one of their franchise defensive ends in this past April’s draft.

Simply, Maybin is getting screwed by the stupididty of the Bills coaching staff.

Many people are calling Maybin a bust as he has no sacks.

The fact of the matter is that he has no sacks, because the the Bills give him very few snaps a game.

Right now the third defensive end on the depth chart is Ryan Denney who has done nothing this year to impact the defense.

The fact of the matter is that Denney should have been cut, but foir whatever reason the Bills foolishly see something in him.

Maybin next year will move up to the third defensive end spot as Denney’s contract is up.

The thing is Maybin should be starting now as the Bills are going nowhere ans the run derfense is the worst in the league.

In the end problem is not Maybin, but a coaching staff that doesn’t deserve to be coaches.

A Byrd Takes Flight

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

The Buffalo Bills took Jairus Byrd in the second round with the hopes that he would turn into a playmaker at safety.

In just half a season Byrd proved the Bills thinking as he is contending for Defensive Player of the year with seven interceptions on the year, which are all in his last four games.

Most likely Byrd will not break the record for most interceptions in a season, which is 14 by Dick “Night Train” Lane in 1952 for the Los Angeles Rams as a rookie.

Most likely Byrd will not break the record as teams will now inform their quarterbacks to be aware of where Byrd is at all times.

Yes, you could argue that a lot of those interceptions were luck as quite a few of them were ricochets of wide receivers.

However, that is what good free safeties do as they get themselves in a position to make a play after a mistake is made.

I base that on what I saw as I looked at every interception for both Byrd and New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper.

Both caught interceptions on ricochets and deep passes overthrown, or off target.

The only difference between the two is the fact that Sharper made a couple interceptions on plays where quarterbacks took a long time to throw the ball or locked on a wide receiver.

In the end Byrd will be a superstar in the National Football League.

Schonert is Vindicated

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jauron fired offensive coorsinator Turk Schonert right before the season.

Since, the Bills have proven what he said is true.

Schonert stated after he was fired that the problem with the offense was that it was made very basic at the direction od head coach Dick Jauron.

So, when the offense was terrible in the preseason Jauron fired Schonert in hopes that a different play caller would spark the offense.

The fact of the matter is that offenses must have ab ary of plays and formations in order to fool the defense and catch them out of position.

In the end the Bills playbook is so bad eveb Drew Brees would have a tough time throwing in it.

The Bills Get the Last Laugh

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

The Buffalo Bills let cornerback Nate Clements as they thought his price tag was too high.

Clements may have gotten the first laugh with the huge contract that he signed, but the Bills got the last as Clements has proven to be not worthy of it.

Reports surfaced last week that Clements lost his starting position to fellow cornerback Tarell Brown.

The reasoning was that Brown provided a better matchup against wide receiver Reggie Wayne.

To and to Clements problems the Press Democrat reports that Clements broke his shoulder blade Sunday.

That means his year is most likely done as he is out for six weeks.

With cornerback being such an important position no team can really afford to carry an injured cornerback for a long period of time on their roster.

In the end it is satisfying to see Clements fail as he proved to be a jerk in his time here.

Bills Week Eight Commentary

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

The Buffalo Bills entered this Sunday with the hopes that they would win and get to 4-4 entering the bye.

However, that was not to be as the Bills collapsed in the second half losing 31-10 to the Houston Texans.

It is obvious that Fitzpatrick is not even a good back up as his accuracy is just terrible.

Several times balls were just way off target when it wasn’t even that much of a breezy day.

The Bills had third down and five yards or less six times and converted none of them.

Of those six, five of them were pass plays and that means the offense’s performance today is all on Fitzpatrick as it showed today that his reading of defenses is poor, which made the offensive line look bad.
If Edwards was in there this would have been a much closer game and probably would have won considering that the Texans run a 4-3 defense.
I still say that the signing of wide receiver Terrell Owens was a mistake as it has totally disrupted the chemistry and the progress of the passing game.

Last year the Bills offense was averaging 190 yards passing and now this year they are averaging 154 yards passing.

Once Edwards comes back the passing game is going to have problems as Owens will drop balls again.

If that happens again in the second half I want to see Edwards back in 2010 without Owens and the Bills starting Johnson or Hardy, which they should have this year with Johnson.
In regards to the defense i am not going to lay this one on them.

In the first half they allowed 60 yards rushing, but when you are on the field as much as the Bills defense has you are going to be worn out and give up a lot of yards.

In regards to the injuries that is all on head coach Dick Jauron as his practices are too soft and it shows as every week someone goes down as their bodies cannot withstand the stress.

In the end this is what you get when you hire a guy in Russ Brandon who had no prior experience in football operations before becoming COO of the Bills.

Could Jauron Actually Keep his Job?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Pretty much every single Buffalo Bills fan wants current head cpach Dick Jauron fired.

However, there is a good possibility that he could actually keep his job.

Going into the season the Bills schedule looked tough.

As the season progresses it is starting to look more and more that the Bills schedule is pretty easy as teams that were goodast year look miserable this year.

The way things are shaping up the bills could go 7-9 again, or even improve on that mark.

The Bills fans will be fed that the teams’ problem was a young offensive line.

Everyone knows that the truth is that the quarterbacking stinks and so Dick Jauron as head coach.

In the end there is light at the end of the tunnel.
