The Buffalo Bills have made many questionable decisions over the last couple of months.
However, what came out Sunday left many Bills fans saying what the @?*#!
According to Fox’s Jay Glazer, via Pro Football Talk, the Bills didn’t call everyone when they traded Marshawn Lynch. The significance being that there were other teams besides the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers that wanted Lynch and were willing to part with a higher draft pick.
That right there is a damning statment on the state of the Bills. That being good teams don’t let the opportunity opportunities to get high draft picks slip by them.
The Bills could have even got a pick as high as the second round as quality players like Lynch rarely come up for trade in the middle of the season.
The one other person that is expendable and could fetch an even higher pick is wide receiver Lee Evans. Evans is a top notch wide receiver and on a contender could put that particular team over the top.
At first I felt the Bills should keep him, but wide receiver David Nelson has continued his strong play and possibly could be the heir apparent to Evans. Also, with the speed of number two wide receiver Roscoe Parrish they can now easily trade him.
In the end, the way things have gone one has to wonder if anyone else was traded would they get the highest offer out there?
