Bills fans get their wake up call

Standard

The Waahington Redskins today announced Saturday that they cut wide receiver Devin Thomas who was a second round pick in the 2008 National Football League Draft.

With that many Buffalo Bills fans have just gotten their wake up call.

Many Bills fans go by the reccomendations of ESPN NFL Draft experts Mel Kiper and Todd McShay, along with the other so called draft experts.

The fact of the matter is that the mental side of the game, besides intelligence that is, is a huge part of a player’s success in transitioning from college to the NFL.

The greats of the game like New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning during the football season can be found at their team facilities from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., which means that they have an unrelenting passion to win in the game they love. Also, as confident as they are in their own abilities they also know what their weaknesses are.

What fans should do is while also watching college games look for old interviews with the a certain player and listen for certain key phrases that give some insight into a player.

In the end, when people do this they will then get a feel for which players can make it and who cannot.
