Moss trade wouldn’t make sense

Multiple reports Tuesday night have the New England Patriots trading wide receiver Randy Moss to the Minnesota Vikings in a package deal.

Trading Moss just doesn’t make sense.

The problem is that outside of Moss the Patriots have no legitament deep threat. Tight end Aaron Hernandez has tremendous speed and will most likely be used to replace him, but he is still just a rookie.

Also, the defense isn’t that good and if it wasn’t for their special teams they would have lost to the Miami Dolphins Monday night.

In the end, great wide receivers don’t grow on trees and trading Moss would only hurt their chances at making the playoffs.

More Spiller the better

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have traded running back Marshawn Lynch to the Seattle Seahawks.

That means rookie running back CJ Spiller will get more carries and that means the more Spiller the better.

Spiller is a fast dynamic running back that has the potential to break a play open for a touchdown. With the Bills struggling on offense you think they would use Spiller more, but that isn’t the case.

However, that will change with Lynch getting traded. There is one concern and that is his blocking when he is required as on one play he completely whiffed.

In the end, wirh an extra pick and more Spiller things just got a little brighter for Bills fans.
