Please lose Bills

Standard

There is no doubt that current starting Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t the long term answer for the team.

So, please lose Bills that way we can gwt the best quarterback in the National Football League Draft.

The Bills haven’t had a franchise quarterback since Jim Kelly retired after the 1996 season. No, I don’t consider former Bills quarterback Doug Flutie as one as he was more of a hold over just like Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb would have been.

Is it coincidence that the best two quarterbacks the Bills have had since in Flutie and quarterback Drew Bledsoe they were very respectable. No, its not as the sucess of the Bills K-gun offense in the early 1990 has transformed the NFL into a quarterback league.

In the end, the Bills will be back in the playoffs when they finally have their franchise quarterback.

Kiwanuka should shut it down

Standard

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, on his Twitter account, New York Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka has a disc bulge in his neck.

Having suffered one of those myself the best course is to just shut it down for the year.

Mortensen also tweeted that the recovery time is two to three months, which means that at the earliest Kiwanuka would be able to return is early December.  That means Kiwanuka would be able to return for the last quarter of the last month of football.

However, the one thing that will come into play is other injuries that the Giants would suffer.  If they suffer very little injuries then they would be able to hold a roster spot for Kiwanuka.

In the end, the best thing to do is to shut it down as if he returns to early Kiwanuka could actually make things worst.
