NFL should keep season time frame

Standard

National Football League owners have pretty much made up their minds that the regular season will expand from 16 to 18 games.

The time frame the NFL has in place should be the same one for the 18 game season

Currently training camps open in late July and the Superbiwl is played on the first Sunday in February.

Some think the NFL will just push the season back, which would then push back the Academy Awards and other events held in February.

What the NFL should do is just simply turn the last two preseason games into regular season games, and push forward the start of training camp by a couple days if needed.

In the end, the NFL season schdule needs a little tinkering with not an overhaul.
