The Buffalo Bills were chastized for not taking a quarterback in last April’s National Football League Draft.
For it the Bills have made one writers list of the 10 worst offseason moves.
Evan Silva of NBCSports.com and Pro Football Talk ranked the Bills not taking a quarterback the third worst offseason move.
The fact of the matter is that the Bills had one of the most prolific offenses of all time in the 1990’s, but lost due to the fact their defense couldn’t stop the run.
That is the same problem the Bills had last year as they weren’t able to stop the run at all last year, which reduced the number of oppotunities the offense got. That in turn made the offense look worst than what it is.
The Bills drafted the right people as Bills running back Fred Jackson is 29 years old and nose tackle Kyle Williams is terrible against the run.
In the end, as the saying goes offense wins games and defense wins championships.
