On Thursday the Drug Enforcement Agency held a press conference to annouce the arrest of 34 people in connection to a perscription drug ring.
That coupled with the news coming out of San Diego teams would be wise to ditch the drug lockers.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune RSF Prarmacuticals has lost its license to “obtain, distribute, possess, or manufacture controlled substances” as it was the compant that filled out the perscriptions of San Diego Chargers team doctor who wrote 108 perscriptions to himself.
The fact is the DEA is cracking down on anything illegal connected to controlled persription drugs.
In the end, if teams don’t start using pharmacies that deliver they will find themselves in the same situation as the Chargers.
