Media needs to shutup on Bills

Standard

Everywhere I turn I get to read how terrible in 2011 the Buffalo Bills will be.

Well the media needs to shut up as nobody right now can predict how a team will do in 2010.

Last season many predicted the Tennessee Titans to get back to the playoffs, but they started off last year 0-6.

Also, many thought that the Atlanta Falcons behind second year quarterback Matt Ryan and running back Michael Turner, but injuries derailed their season.

Then there is the New Orleans Saints as in 2008 they went 8-8 so nobody was picking them for the playoffs let alone the Superbowl.

Every year there is a team that makes a dramatic turn around, which leads me to ask why can’t the Bills do that in 2010.

Yes, they have the same quarterbacks as last year, but Bills head coach Chan Gailey has a history of making average quarterbacks look like franchise quarterbacks.

When September is over and they are 1-3 or 0-4 then people can start looking to the 2011 National Football League Draft.

In the end, after all doesn’t everyone deserve a chance.

Losman may get his second chance soon

Standard

Former Buffalo Bills quarterback JP Losman signed with the Seattle Seahawks this offseason.

With Matt Hasselbeck in the twighlight of his career Losman’s second chance at being a starter may come soon.

Accordind to Dave Boling of the Tacoma New-Tribune, Losman looks more capable of being a staring quarterback than Charlie Whitehurst right now.

That is not surprising since Losman has two and a half years of starting before being screwed by head coach Dick Jauron.

Also, as history has shown the offense was so basic under Jauron that it became so predictable to the point where the defense knew what play the Bills were running prior to snap.

In the end, if Losman succeeds in Seattle many Bills fans will be kicking themselves a long time.
