Media needs to learn to take Nix at face value

Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix in his short time has proven to be a much different type of personality than most general manager who are gaurded and secretive as Nis is a straight shooter that will tell you the way it is.

Hopefully, with the end of the rampant speculation that the Bills e intending to trade running back Marshawn Lynch the media will learn to take Nix at face value.

When the Bills drafted running back CJ Spiller in the first round of last week’s National Football League Draft the rumor mill of Lynch being traded started to heat up, but even before the draft Nix has been adament that Lynch isn’t going anywhere.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Twitter, via, tweeted: Adam_Schefter RT @Packers48094: what are the possibility that marshawn lynch goes to the packers? … Not happening. Bills adamant Lynch going nowhere.

Of course he isn’t going anywhere, because fellow running back Fred Jackson is 29 years old and has played a lot of Football before landing with the Bills in 2006.

Jackson in 2004 and 2005 played for the Indoor Football League for the Sioux city Bandits and in 2006 played for the Rhine Fire of the now defunct NFL Europe.

That means in a year or two Jackson’s play is going to start dropping off dramatically and the current trend in the NFL is to have two running backs.

In the end, if there is a running back that is going somewhere sometime soon it is Jackson.
