According to ProFootballTalk.com, when former National Football League quarterback Jake Plummer is now technically a free agent.
With the Buffalo Bills needing a quarterback the Bills should try to get him to come out of retirement.
Plummer retired when traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the Denver Broncos.
The Buccaneers then pursued the prorated portion of bonus money paid by the Broncos.
According to the report, part of the deal was Plummer to be released from his contract and to become an unrestricted free agent instead of being placed on the reserve/retired list.
Plummer was erratic during his career as he threw untimely interceptions.
However, let’s face it the real reason the Broncos exited the playoffs early all the time was that their defense stunk.
In the end with Bills head coach Chan Gailey looking for a veteran to quarterback the team Plummer is one of the better options.
Good night and Good luck.
