New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick did a rare candid interview with Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports.

What you take away is that any player over 30 years old can be traded for.

Bilichick stated that the Patriots take a cost analysis approach to the trade.

That means if the the asset they are getting in return is worth more in their eyes than what they are giving up they will do it.

So, that means that any team could even trade for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, but they would have to give up at least three first round picks.

If a team is young and feel they are a quarterback away from the playoffs then it would be a worth while trade.

In the end it just goes to show that it will be rare to see a player retire with the same team he started with.
