Former National Football League Players Association executive director Gene Upshaw has been dead for a while now.

Even though he maybe gone his actions stll have a reounding affect on the NFL.

The last time the NFL and NFLPA agreed on a Collective Bargaining Agreement the NFLPA too the NFL to the cleaners.

Now, the owners are hell bent on making the NFLPA pay fopr the fast one they pulled.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the owners will do whatever they have to do in order to get what they feel is appropriate.

That message has become clearer each day as according to ProFootballTalk.com there are rumours of a post season strike.

That will never happen as there are stipulations in the current CBA preventing such.

However, what the rumour says is that the players realize that they are screwed after this season.

In the end the only real way for a CBA to get done soon is for current NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith to go up to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and tell him fine u guys win, and give into their demands.
