The Bills Get the Last Laugh
The Buffalo Bills let cornerback Nate Clements as they thought his price tag was too high.
Clements may have gotten the first laugh with the huge contract that he signed, but the Bills got the last as Clements has proven to be not worthy of it.
Reports surfaced last week that Clements lost his starting position to fellow cornerback Tarell Brown.
The reasoning was that Brown provided a better matchup against wide receiver Reggie Wayne.
To and to Clements problems the Press Democrat reports that Clements broke his shoulder blade Sunday.
That means his year is most likely done as he is out for six weeks.
With cornerback being such an important position no team can really afford to carry an injured cornerback for a long period of time on their roster.
In the end it is satisfying to see Clements fail as he proved to be a jerk in his time here.
