Adams is Right to Step In

Many times in the National Football League when a owner steps in it usually not for the betterment of his football team.

However, when Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams stepped in after a 59-0 loss to the New England Patriots on October 18th it was the right thing to do.

Adams told the Tennessean that he wants to see quarterback Vince Young be the starter for the rest of the season.

Last year Collins had seven interceptions for the entire 2008 season, but this year through six games Collins has already thrown eight.

The problem is that Collins is the classic pocket passing quarterback that has no mobility.

Teams realize this and are taking away the running game and are forcing the Titans to beat them via Collins.

Starting Young would allow the Titans to sustain more drives as he is a great scrambler.

In the end with Collins on pace to throw as many interceptions as Young did when he was a starter the Titans might as well try Young out to see if he improved.
