Will Jenkins be the SameThe New York Jets learned earlier this week that nose tackle Kris Jenkins is out for the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The question is now will Jenkins ever be the same?
The big factor in Jenkins return will be how bad the tear is as the heavier a person is the more damage is done.
Also, in 2005 he tore the ACL in his right knee, which means that the big man is riding on two bad wheels.
Doctors did say he will be ready for next year, but with Jenkins tearing ligaments in both knees the Jets need to start planning on a replacement for Jenkins as another major knee injury will be around the corner.
In the end with Jenkins being on the wrong side of 30 Jenkins career will be coming to a close sooner than he will want.
