Things Just got Worst for Jets
The New York Jets are in a horrib le three game skid where they saw their rookie starting quarterback Mark Sanchez throw five interceptions.
Just when you think things couldn’t get worst for the Jets they did as nose tackle Kris Jenkins is out for the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
That is huge for the Jets as he anchors the middle of that line, which allows the linebackes to roam freely.
Without Jenkins teams will now just have to single team the nose tackle and immediately be able to block the linebackers.
That should open the running game more for other teams.
With the Jets inability to stop the run the Jets will get behind quicker, thus having to rely on Sanchez more,
If that happens the Jets will lose a lot of games as rookie quarterbacks have poor jusgement at times due to a lack of experience with coverages.
In the end the Jets will miss the playoffs.
