Rams Linebacker Gets a Raw Deal
The Saint Louis Rams have been informed that linebacker David Vobora will be suspended four games for a violation of the league’s performance enhancing substances.
It is clear that Vobora is getting a raw deal from the National Football League.
According to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com, a supplement that Vobora was taking was tainted with a substance that is on the NFL’s banned list.
Vobora was told by the league hotline to see if it was on the banned products list before taking it, which it was not.
The thing is how is Vobora responsible for this when neither the NFL or NFLPA knew that the supplement was tainted.
If a substance is being secretly put in the player will have no clue it is in there as it will not be on the label.
The league’s policy is that players are responsible for whatever they put in their bodies.
That is a complete load of manure.
So, what is next for Vobora?
You can expect the NFLPA to be all over this one as nobody was informed about problems with the supplement like Starcaps saga.
In the end you can expect another long knock out drag out fight that the League will surely lose.
