Many people today are bashing Kansas City Cheifs head coach Todd Haley for running the ball so much while down 24-7.

The fact of the matter is that Haley was right to run the football.

The Chiefs are not good at running the football as running back Larry Johnson is averaging just over two yards a carry.

In the National Football League if you are going to win then you have to run the football successfully.

The reason being as you get into the second half of the season teams encounter weather conditions that make extremely hard to pass.

In the end if Haley doesn’t get the Chifs running game going it is going to be a long season.
