All of Dolphins Nation on Long
The Miami Dolphins took offensive tackle Jake Long to be their franchise left tackle for the next decade, which he looked like after the 2008 season.
However, after two games all of the Dolphin nation is worried about Long.
Long has given up three sacks in the first two games of the regular season.
On top of that according to the Miami Herald, Longs number of snaps one on one with defensive ends went down from 28 in week one against Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham to 13 against Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freene.
With the Dolphins going against the San Diego Chargers again that number will probably be low again.
There are two possibilities for Long’s struggle and those are that either Long is hurt and the Dolphins are not reporting it or teams have found a weakness with Long and are exploiting it.
In the end either which way if things continue to go this way Long is going to find himself watching instead of playing.
