The Next Super Mario?
The New York Giants took wide receiver Mario Manningham in the third round as he slipped into the third round of the 2008 National Football League Draft.
After two games Manningham is starting to look like the Super Mario of the NFL.
Manningham on Sunday Night Football caught 10 passes for 150 yards with one touchdown.
That is pretty good considering that Manningham is the third wide receiver on the Giants.
The one question for the Giants going into 2009 was do they have an answer to wide receiver Plaxico Burress who was cut by the team back in April.
With the Giants having two solid receivers in Manningham and Steve Smith the Giants have a solid one two punch.
With tight end Kevin Boss, rookie rookie wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, and one of the best running games in the NFL the Giants are just absolutely stacked on offense.
In the end the Giants are simply one of the teams to beat in the NFC Conference.
