Is Rodgers Already Elite?

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had an outstanding season last year in what was his first year as a starting quarterback.

With a fourth quarter comeback this past Sunday against the Chicago Bears Rodgers is now in the conversation of the top five quarterbacks of the National Football League.

Rodgers last year threw for 4,038 yards passing with 28 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

For a quarterback in his first year starting that is mind blowing as there is still little things that you can only learn on the football field.

With quality wide receivers in Greg Jennings and Donald Driver Rodgers could push New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees for the status of best quarterback in the NFC conference.

If Rodgers even comes close to Brees’s stats he will take that status away from him as Rodgers plays eight games a year outside, while Brees plays his home games indoors where it is always easy to pass year round.

In the end Rodgers off to what looks to be an amazing career.
