Being a former high school football player I know how crushing last minute close defeat feels like.

Simply, it is amazing that any Buffalo Bill players talked after the loss to New England Patriots.

Jerry Sullivan of the Buffalo News called out Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens for not speaking to the media.

The fact of the matter is that no football player wants to talk after getting their heart ripped out like that.

The only reason that they did talk was due to the fact that they have an obligation to fullfil to the media.

What Owens did by not speaking was the right thing to do as he had to be furious with only getting four passes throw his way.

The only negative thing that I have to say about the offense was that there were times and instances that plays could have been audibled to Owens or fellow wide receiver Lee Evans as Patriots’ cornerbacks were sometimes six yards off the line of scrimmage.

The funny thing is that is exactly what Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did in the second half.

Brady knew that they could not run the ball as the defensive line was stout all day against it and with the Bills playing two deep safeties the only way they were going to move the ball was with short passes.

Brady then all throughout the second half either audibled or checked down, which for whatever reason the Bills defense did not have an answer for.
in the end there are even going to be times where even greatest character football players will just not speak.
