Davis Has Grown Up

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is a tremendously talented player that has been hindered by his immaturity.
That has changed as Davis has finally grown up under head coach Mike Singletary.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, Davis has been named a captain by the team.
Simply what happened has happened is that the coaching of Singletay hit home for Davis.
Singletary cited that his professionalism, work ethic, and the other qualities it takes to be a leader.
What that means is that Davis has been working his butt off and should have a huge year for the 49ers.
In the end with the development of Davis the 49ers could be a surprise contender in the NFC West.
