Van Pelt is the Right ManMany have been wondering if new offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt is the right man for the job.
That is already starting to be proven correct as after just a single practice.
The biggest noteable problem with the Bills No Huddle offense was that it was not getting plays off fast enough.
According to WGR 550, Bills running back Fred Jackson has stated on the record that has changed.
“I think the biggest change I’ve seen is the speed of the offense. We’re moving a lot faster with the no-huddle, I think we’re getting plays off seven-eight seconds faster than we were before and I think a lot of the guys are buying into it,” stated Jackson.
The whole purpose of the No Huddle is to wear out opponents and not allow them to make adjustments in the middle of a drive.
In the end with the right signal caller behind the helm it is up to quarterback Trent Edwards to get it done.
