Can Garrard Rebound?
The Jacksonville Jaguars turned over the franchise to quarterback David Garrard who initially looked like he was the real deal.
Now, the question is can Garrard bounce back after a dissapointing season.
Garrard had a break out year in 2007 with 2.509 passign yards with 18 touchdowns, and only three interceptions
In 2008 things fell apart as he threw for 3,620 yards with 15 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
The fact of the matter is that Garrard’s performance traces back to the play of the offensive line as it was horrible due to numerous starters suffering from injuries.
Both starting guards in Maurice Williams and Vince Manuwai suffered season ending knee injuries in the regulars season opener last year.
That dropped the Jaguars rushing attack from second in the National Football League in 2007 to 18th in 2008.
In the end simply as long as the offensive line stay healthy and plays well so will Garrard.
