Can McGee Stay Healthy?Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrance McGee has turned into a top notch cornerback in the National Football League. The only problem is that he has never started a full season yet.
McGee made his mark on the team with his kick return ability, but as he has gotten older and more important defensively things started to change.
Now, with the addition of cornerback Leodis McKelvin, who is just as good returning kicks, to the team McGee’s days as a kick returner is over.
That is important as the main reason that he has missed games was the injuries that he suffered from all those kick returns.
Besides McGee there is only one other cornerback on the roster that has four or more years of playing experience, which is Drayton Florence who they acquired in free agency.
Lets not forget that the Bills play in the AFC East where each team has pretty good wide receivers.
In the end if the Bills need McGee to play stay healthy if they are going to have a chance at the playoffs.

49ers Should be in San FranciscoThe San Francisco 49ers are in the midst of putting a plan together for a new stadium. The 49ers would be foolish to build the stadium outside of the city.
Right now the leading site for the new 49ers stadium is the city of Santa Clara, CA, which is 20 miles outside of the city.
The Buffalo Bills is the only other team that I know off hand that is outside of the city that it is named after as their stadium is 10 miles from the middle of downtown Buffalo in Orchard Park, NY.
Now, the city of Buffalo, along with every Western New Yorker, wants the Bills in downtown Buffalo, because several reasons.
Buffalo does have the Buffalo Bisons, Buffalo Sabres, which hosts a lot of concerts, theaters, and symphonies.
However, there is no greater impact than having a football team in the heart of your city.
The amount of revenue that flows into a city is grearter than all those combined, because those games increase the demand for local restaurants, parking, and other stores that fans going to the game needs.
With more businesses doing business that means more property taxes for the city.
If the 49ers were to move then there are going to be some businesses that will close, which means lost revenue.
That translates into a budget deficate for the city, which lawmakers will compensate for by cutting teachers, emergency responders, or other government officials.
In the end the city of San Francisco needs to get its act together or they will feel the loss for decades to come.

Jarmon is a RiskThe Washington Redskins took defensive end Jeremy Jarmon in the third round of the supplemental draft. Considering how he got there Jarmon is a risky pick.
Jarmon lost his elegibility after he failed a drug test for a banned substance.
The fact that he lost his eligibility the way he did raises a whole bunch of red flags that teams are foolishly ignoring.
The reason being that players that take banned substances are usually dabbling in other drugs.
The thing is that National Football League drug testing is much more stringent.
That means if Jarmon doesn’t smarten up he is going to find himself unemployment soon as the NFL always finds out if someone is doing something.
In the end with only four supplemental picks being on active rosters the Redskins are fools anywhich way for wasting their 2010 third round pick, but if he stays clean it will be a steal.

Are the Raiders Foolish EnoughThe Oakland Raiders took Jamarcus Russell with the first overall pick in the 2007 National Football League Draft. With the current transaction that the Raiders have made they might be foolish enough to bench him.
Russell was average for most of the season, but in the final three games of the season he looked as if he finally got things as he threw for 626 yards passing, six touchdowns, two interceptions for a 104.23 quarterback rating.
Then this offseason head coach Tom Cable called him out, which Russell responded to by calling extra practice sessions with wide receivers.
Just when things were looking on the up in typical Raiders fashion things go crazy.
First, Garcia went on record stating that he expects to be the starting quarterback.
Secondly, the Raiders signed Greg Ellis to be their defensive end in their 4-3 system when he played outside linebacker in a 3-4 with the Dallas Cowboys last year.
Finally, this past week the the Raiders cut 2009 NFL Draft sixth round pick Stryker Sulak without any notification to him or his agent, which is a first in the NFL.
In the end anything can happen with the Raiders, because they are fruitier than a fruit salad.

Evans Making the Right MoveArizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is holding a unique camp in Minnesota. Evans made the wise move by attending the camp.
Fitgerald invited the top receivers in the league, along with a couple of other players, which includes Evans.
The reason that Evans was wise to make the trip is that legendary wide reciever Jerry Rice was an instructor last week and Chris Carter who also had a great career.
There is a saying in the business world that if you want to be the best you must hand around the best, and learn from them.
No doubt that Evans will be picking the brains of everyone there trying to soak up everything he can to catapult him into the elite level.
In the end if Evans does not have one of the best years of his career this year then I will be definitely disappointed.

Bills Own Arrogance Costs themIn my own dealing with Buffalo Bills front office one thing that overwhelmingly emanates from the front office is arrogance. This time it cost them literally.
According to WGRZ, Bonnie Krauss, who was an assistant to the Vice President of Marketing and Broadcasting, allegedly stole over $70 thousand from the team.
Krauss was with the team for 10 years before moving to California, which makes the news surprising to the team.
The fact that she stole over $70 thousand means that she has been doing this over a long period of time.
The problem with the Bills is that they arrogantly think that since they are the Bills and a National Football league team that nobody will do no wrong and will never commit any crimes.
However, the fact is that we are all human as we have good and bad days, pet peeves, and temptations.
In the end if the Bills don’t realize that they need to make people that work for them feel special then they will always have problems with employees.

Romo has No more ExcusesDallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo drop in his performance has been attributed to distraction. In 2009 that will not be the case as those distractions are now gone.
Romo apparently had two major distractions last year in wide receiver Terrell Owens and girlfriend Jessica Simpson.
However, doesn’t have either of them to rely on for an excuse as both are gone.
First, earlier this offseason the Cowboys cut wide receiver Terrell Owens citing that they wanted to go in a different direction in giving wide receiver Roy Williams the chance to be the number one wide receiver on the depth chart.
Then on Tuesday the Dallas Morning News reported on an article in People Magazine that Romo dumped Simpson.
Lets not forget that Romo still has the same offensive coordinator in Jason Garrett.
In the end if Romo’s prodcution stays the same or drops he could eventually find himself in another jersey.

On Wednesday Kasper’s Korner conducted an interview with Coach ID engineer Mike Stabilia. The product is simply amazing and the whole question and answer session can be found in a seperate link under Q & A Session with Coach ID Engineer Mike Stabilia on the side near the top. Or click here.

Mason’s Actions are SelfishBaltimore Ravens wide receiver DerrickMason has been an integral part of the Ravens offense for the last four seasons. Considering what time of year it is Mason’s announcement is selfish.
Mason announced his retirement on the website Jocklife.com Monday.
Most likely the death of former teammate quarterback Steve McNair made Mason to rethink his priorities.
The problem is that training camp is only a couple of weeks away and if Mason would have announced this early in the offseason it would not be a problem.
The thing is that even if the Ravens went out and signed a veteran wide receiver that person would still struggle as there is simply not enough time between now and the beginning of the regular season to memorize the playbook well.
What Mason did was totally disrespectful to McNair as he would have never put his team in that kind of a situation, nor would he want a teammate to do it either.
What Mason should have done is play out the 2009 season and then retire when the season is over for the Ravens.
In the end Mason will take a lot of criticism from the media and former teammates, which he rightfully deserves.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the first time drafted a quarterback by taking Josh Freeman in the first round. Simply, the Buccaneers would be fools to to start him.
Rookie quarterbacks can survive starting right away with a solid defense and running game.
However, with the Buccaneers firing head coach Jon Gruden and replacing him with Raheem Morris, who was Gruden’s defensive coordinator, that changes things.
The changing of the coaching staff means that they Buccaneers are in tranisition.
Each coach has his own playbook, which means that the first year entails the coaches determining which players fit the system and which do not.
For the players it means that it will take a whole year to get down the sytem.
Also, the Buccaneers have a brutal schedule in having to face the AFC East and NFC East divisions.
In the end the Buccaneers will most likely hold off starting Freeman, because of the schedule.
