Jarmon is a Risk
The Washington Redskins took defensive end Jeremy Jarmon in the third round of the supplemental draft. Considering how he got there Jarmon is a risky pick.
Jarmon lost his elegibility after he failed a drug test for a banned substance.
The fact that he lost his eligibility the way he did raises a whole bunch of red flags that teams are foolishly ignoring.
The reason being that players that take banned substances are usually dabbling in other drugs.
The thing is that National Football League drug testing is much more stringent.
That means if Jarmon doesn’t smarten up he is going to find himself unemployment soon as the NFL always finds out if someone is doing something.
In the end with only four supplemental picks being on active rosters the Redskins are fools anywhich way for wasting their 2010 third round pick, but if he stays clean it will be a steal.
