Romo has No more Excuses
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo drop in his performance has been attributed to distraction. In 2009 that will not be the case as those distractions are now gone.
Romo apparently had two major distractions last year in wide receiver Terrell Owens and girlfriend Jessica Simpson.
However, doesn’t have either of them to rely on for an excuse as both are gone.
First, earlier this offseason the Cowboys cut wide receiver Terrell Owens citing that they wanted to go in a different direction in giving wide receiver Roy Williams the chance to be the number one wide receiver on the depth chart.
Then on Tuesday the Dallas Morning News reported on an article in People Magazine that Romo dumped Simpson.
Lets not forget that Romo still has the same offensive coordinator in Jason Garrett.
In the end if Romo’s prodcution stays the same or drops he could eventually find himself in another jersey.
