Don’t Underestimate OchocincoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco received bad news yesterday as the National Football League stated that he can not update his twitter account during games. However, they grossly underestimating Ochocinco.
Ochocinco earlier this week posted on his twitter account that he is going to update his account during games.
ProFootballTalk.com then reported on a email they received from NFL spokesman Greg Aiello reminded the site that players are not allowed to have hand held devices on the sideline or the field.
Thus thinking that this should stop it from ever beginning to be a problem.
The thing is that the league is underestimating Ochocinco’s ability to think up of a way to get arond the rule as he is notorius for all sorts of different touchdown dances.
There are two ideas that come to mind, but I am not going to state them.
The reason being the NFL will just get stupid an make up specific rules to ban the methods before they are even tried, so I am airing on the side of caution.
In the end even though they will ban Twitter out right the NFLPA will step in and sue the league as it is a clear violation of a person’s freedom of speech, along with not disturbing the game.
