The New Orleans Times-Picayune’s Jeff Duncan writes that all signs point to the tax credit scandal for the reason of long time long snapper Kevin Houser’s release.

The Tennessean reports that the Tennessee Titans opened LP field today and will also Thursday to allow fans to pay tribute to former Titans quarterback Steve McNair.  Also, Washington Redskin defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth made an unscheduled court visit to try and settle his reckless driving case.  He somehow got out of a jail sentence after previously being on probation for the same thing when the accident happened.

ProFootballTalk.com reports that a email was sent to the Tennessean by Sahel Kazemi’s exboyfriend Keith Northfleet exposing McNair’s affair.  The fact that the Tennessean did nothing about this is dispicable.

The NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora, via ProFootballTalk.com, reports that the Houston  Texans and cornerback Duanta Robinson are far apart in contract talks.
The Boston Globe reports that that New England Patriots tight end Ben Watson on ESPN’s “First Take” thinks quarterback Tom Brady is poised to have a great year.

The Kansas City Star reports that former Kansas City Chief Rich Baldinger has been charged with midemeanor operating a motor vehicle in an imprudent and careless manner, which stems from an accident that killed a person.

The San Diego Union-Tribune talks with Landanian Tomlinson’s mother Loreane about her new book called “LT and Me”.

The Detroit Free Press reports on the funeral for former Detroit Lions Security director Ricky Sandoval.  Also, they report that Lions safety Otis Wiley should be okay in time for training camp.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that one of the more intruiging battles during training camps should be at center.

The Dallas Morning News reports that former Dallas Cowboy Greg Ellis stated on Michael Irvin’s radio show in Dallas that outside linebacker Demarcu Ware would come out on his own to give Greg Ellis playing time.  After dealing with Wade Phillips as a head coach here in Buffalo nothing surprises me, because he can be an idiot at times.

The Metro Police in Nashville, TN have ruled that the the murder of Steve McNair was a murder-suicide with Sahel Kazemi being his killer, according to News Channel Five in Nashville.
