The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that the New Orleans Saints are going to announce a lottery sponsorship with Louisiana State.  Also, they report that running backs Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush will split the carries for the Saints.
The Baltimore Sun reports that the Maryland State government has approved a lottery sponsorship with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Houston Chronicle reports that the Houston Texans signed kicker Kris Brown to a four year $10 million extension with $2.5 million guaranteed.  Also, signed tight end Anthony Hill to four year deal worth $2,206,500.  Hill was the Texans second fourth round draft pick.

The Florida Times-Union reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars cut quarterback Cleo Lemon and signed quarterback Todd Boeckman.

The San Francisco Gate Chronicle reports that the starting quarterback has not been decided yet by San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Singletary.  Not everyone is a dumbass like Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels.
