Quarterback Brett Farve retired following the 2008 season, but it looks like he is unretiring again.  Simply, Farve just needs to go away.

Farve retired after the 2007, but just before training camp starter for the Green Bay Packers he unretired.  Even though Farve unretired the Packes still moved onto quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Eventually, Farve was traded to the New York Jets.

After one season with the Jets Farve retired, but something happened.

The Jets in the 2009 National Football League Draft traded up to take quarterback Mark Sanchez.  That gave Farve the opportunity that he could only dream of.

The drafting of Sanchez filled the need of a quarterback for the Jets.  That allowed Farve to ask for his release, because if he would of asked before the draft the Jets would have most likely said no.  The reason being that Farve asking would lead them to believe that he was coming back.

Many people will doubt that Farve ever intended to retire, but the matter of the fact is that he fully intended to.  What changed his mind was the one thing that Farve could not resist, and that is revenge.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Farve still to this day is bitter over how the Green Bay Packers treated him last year.

With the Jets giving him his out right release, allowing him to be a unrestricted free agent, Farve is determined to come back again for revenge.

However, Farve is not the same at age 39.  Even the most durable of quarterbacks start declining.

The fact of the matter is that the Minnesota Vikings have a great running attack, but no passing attack.  Even with the addition of Farve the Vikings are going to be no better in that area.

All Farve is doing is tarnishing a legacy and creating a new image that ultimately he is a self and greedy person.

So, Brett just do us all a favor and go away.
