It has been reported that the Buffalo Bills are attempting to trade wide receiver Roscoe Parrish.  Simply, they are trading the wrong player.

Parrish is under contract through 2011, which is longer than the player that should be traded.

The player is Josh Reed as Reed is entering the last year of his contract.

As valuable as Reed has been to the offense in the past his role is going to be greatly diminished with the signing of wide receiver Terrell Owens.

Also, Reed is also not as useful as Parrish is.  Parrish has been near the top in punt return yardage for the last couple of seasons.

Even Peter King of SI.com stated in his Monday Morning Quarterback column that Parrish is a dangerous weapon, and would be a mistake to trade.

The fact of the matter is that the front office is needing a house cleaning as they are proving to be inept.
