Can Titans keep undefeated streak going
The Tennessee Titans are the obvious surprise of the league as they are still undefeated. With the season getting to the home stretch many people are wondering if they can keep their streak going.
Looking at the remainder of the schedule it looks like that the Titans will have a hard time staying undefeated. The Titans play each opponent in their division once more, alond with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and the Detroit Lions.
While even some teammates doubt that they will go undfeated, defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch, reaching that goal is attainable. The reason for that is their defense line is stellar, and I am not talking about the defensive ends.
Through nine games defensive tackles Albert Haynesworth, and Tony Brown, have combined for ten sacks. That is an unbelievable number as most solid defensive tackle tandems go for ten the whole season.
Also, both defensive tackles have more overall tackles than starting defensive ends Jevon Kearse, and Kyle Vanden Bosch. Both of the combined have only 35 tackles, while Haynesworth has 32, and Brown has 30.
Simply, the Titans defensive tackles are causing hell for teams with their penetration. The only way to combat the Titans defensive tackles is to double team both of them, but that frees up the linebackers.
So, unless a team has an offensive line that can go toe to toe with the Titans defensive tackles, or they get hurt, the Titans look like the team to beat for the Superbowl.
