Patriots time at the top running out

The New England Patriots have suffered another huge loss when strong safety Rodney Harrison tore his quad muscle.  The injury only goes to show that the Patriots are not what they used to be.

The Patriots are a veteran team with players whose milage is starting to show.  As the saying goes nothing lasts forever.

The Buffalo Bills of the early 1990’s were the team of the AFC.  They had a deadly offense, with a pretty good defense.  However, in a few short years that changed.

What changed for the Bills?  Free agency, a lot of games, and age.  Which, is the exact same thing that the Patriots are going through right now.

No quarterback is going to have a body that will last like Brett Farve has.  Tom Brady is certain of that, since he is a much different quarterback.

The difference is Farve was a scrambler that avoided hits.  Brady is a pocket passing quarterback that takes a lot of hits.

The Patriots will most likely never have the same type of year as they did last year.  For time catches up on everyone, and that includes the great players of each game.
