King Edwards the excellent

The Buffalo Bills did what most fans expected, and that was beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.  In the process Bills fans have realized that they finally have that franchise quarterback that they been wanting desperately, since Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly retired.

Edwards led the Bills to a comeback win, on the road, and against a team that has been near the top of the AFC conference.  The winning touchdown came with 4:10 left to go in the fourth quarter, when Edwards found wide receiver James Harvey in the corner of the endzone.

Edwards was simply amazing, especially with the Jaguars having a good defense, and a excellent defensive coordinator in Greg Williams, the former Bills head coach.

Watching him today was like watching 49ers quarterbacks Steve Young or Joe Montana.  He simply dissected the Jaguars defense just like the two former 49ers use to do to teams.

Edwards did not just do it against some terrible defense, but against a defense in the Jaguars who were in the top half of defenses in the league last year.

The Jaguars made a huge commitment to bolster their defense when they took defensive ends Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves in this past years National Football League draft in April.

So, for Edwards to accomplish what he did today was truly special, and the beginning of something specail once again in the city of Buffalo.
