Titans need to pull the plug

The Tennessee Titans drafted quarterback Vince Young with the hopes that he would be the franchise quarterback.  After only the first game of the 2008 season the Titans just simply need to pull the plug on Young.

Last year it came out that Young was contemplating retiring after only one season in the National Football League.  Young had another episode after getting booed at home.

Young has been in the wrong situation right from the start.

When Young came out of college he was still a work in progress.  The reason being he was not that good in the passing game just yet, but was already great using his feet.

Then the Titans made the worst decision of all, and that is being to start Young virtually right away.  As it is already common knowledge quarterbacks need a year as a backup to learn.

Simply, Young is damaged goods that is beyond repair.

Why is it that it’s so easy to “ruin” a QB? You think you could just go back to finishing school with the guy and get him back to basics. He can’t do that as a starter, but this guy is too much of an athelete to be finished in this league.
