Another questionable roster move

Many Buffalo Bills fans questioned the Bills for placing starting linebacker Angelo Crowell on injured reserve, eventhough he was going to be ready in about two weeks.  Now, they made another questionable move leaving defensive tackle John McCargo of the game day active roster.

According to Bills reporter Chris Brown the move was most likely due to McCargo’s performance in the preseason.

McCargo was arguably their best defensive tackle last year.  So, for them to do something like this is absolutely baffling.

What makes it even worst looking for the Bills is that starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams did not have a good preseason either.  I can recall in the preseason game against the Redskins Williams got pushed back off the line of scrimmage five yards before he fell.

Also, last year Williams was horrible in the running game.  He was blown off the ball constantly, and never made any plays.

On the other hand McCargo did make some plays in the running game.  Last year against the New York Giants McCargo just blew right by his blocker on a fourth down and one play at the goal line stuffing the play.

Simply, the Bills are play favorites with Williams.  For some reason they are just enamored with Williams.  If Williams played under someone like Bill Parcels Williams would already been on the streets.

Shame on you Bills.
