The Patriots keep getting stronger
The New England Patriots added a needed cog in linebacker Jarod Mayo in this past National Football League draft. Now, the Patriots got even stronger with the addition of John Lynch.
Lynch may not be as good as he once was. However, he fits perfectly into the Patriots game plans.
Lynch signed a one year $1.5 million contract friday with the Patritos.
Lynch will probably replace James Sanders as the starter at free saftey. Wether or not if he is the starter his mere presence on the depth chart helps the Patriots greatly.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has a knack at getting the most out of aging veterans. The past several years many football fans saw Belichick get the most out of againg linebacker Junior Seau.
Many fans were hoping that age, and injuries, would creep up on the Patriots. Thus, allowing other teams in the AFC East to rise up.
However, this is the Patriots, and they always find ways to get talent, and stay on top.
So, do not get your hopes up Bills or Jets fans, because it looks like the Patriots are going to be good for a long time to come.
