Can Titans get a deal done with Gage
The Tennessee Titans hve started talks with the agent of wide receiver Justin Gage. However, will a deal get done in time for the Titans.
Gage had a veery good year last year with 55 receptions for 750 yards and two touchdowns. With Gage only signing a one year deal a lucrative long term deal is in his future.
Gage has two other things going for him, and those are him going into only his sixth year. The other is his height as he is 6-4, which is a huge advantage for wide receivers.
Gage might get some interest as a number one recevier with teams that are not so good. With teams that have good records he will get interest as a number two, becuase most of those teams already have a number one receiver.
It is most likely in his best interest to stay with the Titans. Especially, considering Roydell Williams, who had very similar stats to Gage, on the other side.
The amin thing for the team is to keep it in tact as they are very yonug at the skill position. Quarterback Vince Young will be entering his third year, and for a offense to be potent it needs to be insynch with each other.
If the Titans are going to challenge in their division then the offense will have to be top notch considering who else is in the division.
