Do not blame Giambra for the Toronto idea
Joel Giambra is a polarizing figure that many people in Buffalo do not like, including myself. The Buffalo Bills poor corporate base is actually not Giambra’s fault, but that of ourselves.
The fact is that we have all let the city get this way.
Instead of voting for people that will get the job done we voted along the party lines. Thinking that our base ideal of our party is what will get things done.
Well the matter of the fact is that the city cannot afford to gripe moan and complain. For we are a getting closer and closer to our own death
Businesses just do not sit there and argue amongst themselves about what is going to be better. They take an idea, and develop it.
Once, the idea has been developed they try it out by making it available to the market. If the market likes it then great, but if it does not then they scrap that one, and move on to the next.
There in lies the problem with the people of this city. We are so adamant about change that we never try anything new. We sit and argue back and forth about what idea would be better.
Look at the Peace Bridge, and how long it has taken. Instead of just going with the original idea, instead we ahve argued back and forth now for several years over which type of bridge is going to be better.
Well in the words of Doctor Dennis Leary, “Just shut the fuck up!” Enough is enough already. If someone has and idea instead of shooting it down why don’t we actually try it. After all it might actually work.
