   A congressional commitee will be held tommorrow on disability payments. However, Gene Upshaw, the person that congress wants to hear from, decided that he will not attend the hearings.Â
   To me personally as a business person that is a slap in the face. When your boss comes to you, and wants to know what the hell is going on you answer them. The fact is the government is the ultimate boss, and they want to know what the hell is going on.
    However, Upshaw decided that the problem was not worth his time in answering. Instead one of his henchmen will be there answering questions.Â
    Usually when someone tells their boss to piss off they usually get fired. That is essentially what he will do. It is pretty clear that Upshaw is not going to sit down with anyone and discuss the problems.
   Congress unfortunately must now act, and force Upshaw to do something legally. Right now that is their only immediate hope. For if this does not work then it will be a long hard battle. A battle that retired players are going to have to get creative with.
